DING DING DING! Oh lordy here we go again, its that time of the semester folks with the ROUND 2 OF COMMENTING!!! I personally found this round of commenting to be particularly difficult. Out of the three Digital Artefacts I commented on one had a good amount of feedback to be given, one was quite perfect with it execution and another which sadly hadn’t had an actual video as part of its project.
Let’s start with Mitchell Barlow. For Mitchells Digital Artefact he immediately came swinging with problems that have arisen from his project and ways of changing it for the future. This allowed me to put in some input about his choice to move his narration style to a more Australian centric as well as maybe editing his videos to make them more seamless and attention grabbing however I explained it hard to know if this would actually work without having a full video with working audio to go off.
Next is Bennet Parkinson. Bennet’s Digital Artefact is looking better and better as it goes on, with feedback clearly being taken in on all fronts I don’t really have anything to fault him for. His project looks engaging and interesting to watch, especially from someone with very little Pokémon experience.
Finally, Kurt Dixon and Boswell. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this the upcoming history fanatics haven’t posted an actual video on their Digital Artefact (or at least one I have somehow missed) this makes my job harder as I cant quite give solid feedback for something I haven’t seen yet (again if you have let me know) however its not all negative. Its really good to see how Kurt and Boswell have taken feedback from their pitch video and have clearly stated how they plan to use it in future videos.
